My Sister’s Child Inc.
At My Sister’s Child Inc., we are more than a training program—we are a movement to empower the next generation. Based in Boston, we focus on welding, life skills, and mentorship for underserved youth, creating pathways that transform potential into opportunity.
We are dedicated to guiding at-risk youth and young adults from curiosity to career, offering hands-on workshops, technical training, and educational support that unlock doors to thriving futures in the welding and skilled trades industries.
But our mission extends beyond technical skills. We provide the wrap-around support young people need to succeed—building confidence, resilience, and the life skills essential for long-term stability. With mentorship, exposure to industry leaders, and a community that believes in their worth, participants gain not only job readiness but also a foundation for lifelong success.
At My Sister’s Child, we are forging brighter futures—one weld, one skill, one life at a time.

Alongside this, she brings six years of hands-on experience as a proud member of Boston’s Local 7 Ironworkers, where she developed a passion for welding and the trades.
